I jus want to clarify my original message. The card will autonegotiate to either speed as required. Autonegotiation reports to the console and the card and its parameters are listed when I type ifconfig. However I can't get out to the network via this interface and I'm not seeing any LED activity on the NIC. the server previously had NetWare on it and the interface was working.
