Hi,

I have just stumbled onto this problem that never happened
before, where my ssh login connected fine to a server and the
password was correct, but the 'login' process failed as seen
below in the system log.

Mar 7 11:34:48 magnax sshd[31875]: Accepted password for dtv
from 194.137.138.21 port 3521 ssh2
Mar 7 11:34:48 magnax PAM_pwdb[31875]: (sshd) session opened
for user dtv by (uid=0)
Mar 7 11:35:48 magnax sshd[31875]: syslogin_perform_logout:
logout() returned an error
Mar 7 11:35:49 magnax PAM_pwdb[31875]: (sshd) session closed
for user dtv

My ssh client software is SecureCRT® version 3.3.1 and it just
reported 'Login timed out after 60 seconds'

What is strange is that I can ssh fine to other servers, and
from there launch an ssh login to this server with NO problem.
I've checked the DNS, it's running fine and is able to resolve
the name of my connection. Any help on how to debug this weird
login problem would be appreciated.

Thanks,
David.
