Hi .. Has anyone successfully used a Hp SureStore Dat40 on Redhat 7.1.Does it require any additional software(drivers).
I guess the Tape drive is not getting recognised coz when I do a mt status,I get SCSI 2 tape drive: File number=-1, block number=-1, partition=0. Tape block size 0 bytes. Density code 0x0 (default). Soft error count since last status=0 General status bits on (10000): IM_REP_EN Filenumber/Block number=-1 and the "ONLINE" message doesnt appear either!
