Hi, before you revert to using SVGA you may want to try the latest versions of savage_drv.o These are available from Tim Robert's site at http://www.probo.com/Savage4.html His latest version 1.1.23t is supposed specifically to fix the OpenOffice crash among others (like the "blaster" screen saver hangs).
