Cdrom: No device Found

I installed linux 7.1 on dell optiplex 3310 through cdrom

but later i changed this hardisk to another system i.e without cdrom.

now i added cdrom drive to the new system, now cdrom is not working

#mount /mnt/cdrom

no device found!

plz help me, how can i activated my cdrom.
