Cdrom - Device Not found

Hi,   I installed Linux 7.1 on Dell optiplex with cdrom. but later i changed the harddisk to another system with out cdrom drive.   Now I added cdrom drive to the new system, but the cdrom is not working   # "mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom"     it is saying no device found   I want to know how to activate my cdrom.   Thanks in advance,   ravi kumar m
