rpm -q --queryformat '%{NAME} %{VERSION} %{RELEASE} %{ARCH}\n' kernel
will show you all kernel RPMS you have installed. On one random
machine, this tells me:
kernel 2.4.18 3 athlon
kernel 2.4.18 3UH athlon
