I am new to Linux,
so please bear with me. I have a system running RedHat 7.1 that I need to
add the Maxtor 160GB hard drive to. I also have to install the Maxtor
ATA/133 PCI card to get the full use of the drive. When the system boots
the bios finds the card and the card finds the hard drive. When Linux
starts booting up, it does not find the hard drive. I have looked on
Maxtor's website and sent them an email and they cannot help me. Can
anyone give me some direction on what I need to do.
