hi,

am getting now a little closer to this weird thing :

have now changed the network-cards. eth1 is now eth0 (3c905TX) and then I
made the same copy - result - errors

old eth0 (3c905B) running now as eth0 standalone does not make any problems.

think, but it's only an idea - that 3c905B and 3c905TX are NOT so compatibel
for running in one motherboard.

anyway - a new ethercard as eth1 should do the job.

thanks to all for helping me and giving ideas and hints

bye hans
