I have a Red Hat 7.0 box that I upgraded to 7.1. After the upgrade, my scsi devices have swapped positions, i.e. my old /dev/sda is now /dev/sdb. Is there a way I can force these back to their old positions?
Here are the contents of my /proc/scsi/scsi file: Attached devices: Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 15 Lun: 00 Vendor: Dell Model: 12 BAY U2W CU Rev: 0209 Type: Processor ANSI SCSI revision: 03 Host: scsi0 Channel: 02 Id: 00 Lun: 00 Vendor: MegaRAID Model: LD0 RAID1 17278R Rev: 1.06 Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02 Host: scsi2 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00 Vendor: DELL Model: PERCRAID Mirror Rev: 0001 Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02 So at this point I need scsi0 to be scsi2 and vice versa.
