Sorry for the question, I know this is easy but I don't have the documentation installed(or I don't find)
I installed RHL7.3 beside a w2k installation. at intallation I saw the w2k partition /dev/hda1 but I did'nt define a mountpoint. now I would like to mount this NTFS partition. I tried some mkfs options. I made a /windows dir. I did a mount -t ntfs /dev/hda1 /windows. but it says the kernel does'nt support ntfs.. Do I have to modify the kernel? How.? if you please step by step instructions... Or even been a ntfs partition may I mount as a vfat?? I never tried... Thanks in advance..
