Just to start out I need to say that I am a complete Newbie at Linux and Eger to learn. I know next to nothing here so please help if you can. I have installed a clean install of Redhat 7.3 and am trying to get the Identd server to work so I can logon to IRC networks that require Identd in order to connect. I have started the service and everything looks fine, however when doing a query I get this; response = 6667 , 113 : ERROR : UNKNOWN-ERROR
I have checked the files for this and they seem to be setup right but since I really am new I can only go by what the Example file says. I also tryed a clean install with 7.1 and got the exact same error. I am runing behind a nat'ed network and have the firewall on the Redhat machine turned off for testing.
