Hi there.
I have a problem with the installation of the Red Hat
7.1 on my laptop.
My laptop is an Hp omnibook xe4500.
At this moment, i've made more then one hundred
redhat installations on PCs but i cant do one in my
laptop.
I try to create the partitions and before it begins
to install the packets, during the made of file
system e gives me an error (not say too much) and
abor the installation.
The system cannot format the partitions.
I tried mandrake and the same happened.
The only distribuition of GNU/Linux that i can
install on my laptop is Debian.
Every time i begin an installation (on redhat) i
recieve an warning saying that my partition table has
problems.
Its the same partition scheme that i use for PCs.
256MB /
512 SWAP
2048 /usr
128 /tmp
256 /var
rest /home
Other think, i have the redhat 8.0 CDs and it freezes
in the firts question that i makes me.
Send me ideas okey?
Thank you
