Are you careful to use the "cardctl eject" command prior to physical removal? > > spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7. I get this on a variety of machines and kernels with no obvious ill-effects. There was a thread about it in which Ingo Molner (who ought to know) said that it wasn't a problem. That being said, I really don't know what this is. IIRC it was also discussed on the valhalla or psyche list. http://www.uwsg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0109.3/0682.html > And there's a thread that claims it's "not easily solved" http://archive.linuxfromscratch.org/mail-archives/blfs-support/2002/03/1230.html > ( and I must switch off the laptop ) > Hopefully this is caused by not doing a proper PCMCIA unload as suggested above. Let me know. Oisin Feeley _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
