When I tried this, the command didn't work. The error message said that removing apache would break dependcies. I was able to compile and install the 1.3.27 package but even though I changed the /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd to point to the new installation, it appears the 1.3.19 server is the one that is running.
How can I make sure the correct server is running, and how do I get rid of the old installation without causing dependency issues?
