The syntax between bind 8 and 9 config files changed. bind 8 configs won't
work under bind 9 as you have discovered.

When I did the upgrade, I just went through the old files by hand and
changed stuff that needed changing. I used a book called "redhat Linux 7
Unleased" by Sams Publisher. It tells you what you got to do.
