Oh, anyone can send an email claiming to be from anyone@anyplace.  Such
messages are almost always spam or viruses.  Real people don't need to
hide their true identity when sending emails.

If you are really curious, take a look at the headers of the email
message.  You will probably see that it originated from some remote
machine someplace, having nothing at all to do with your domain or
network.
