If I recall correctly, there is a situation where this occurs on certain
motherboards. RedHat created a special boot disk that you can use to
bypass the problem. If you go to RedHat support, I believe there is a
page that discusses installation issues for RedHat 7.1 and provides a link
to the new boot disk.

This happened to me on Intel 440BX (IIRC) motherboards which has built-in
SCSI on the motherboard.
