Is that file in use, and that's why you can't delete it?

The i switch means that it is immutable, and cannot be changed. Did the original poster change this file? If not, the box may have been hacked, and the file replaced with a hacked one. If so, reinstall.

To remove the immutable switch (and the others), use chattr:

chattr -sia lsof
