*Samba* web server? Anyone know what a "samba" web server is?

Anyway, to answer your question:

type the command "netstat -an | egrep ":80" " and give us the output. It will tell us whether your server is listening on a standard http port.

Subject: web server

Hello

I have installed linux (server) on my machine. I have also installed samba web-server.

I have changed a line in my httpd.conf file to this:

ServerName (The Machines IP address)

And then I have stopped and started the http server again.

I then open a browser (Internet explorer) on another machine on the same subnet (intranet), but I cant see my web site. I have tried this: http://(My Servers IP address) and http://(My Servers Name), but I get nothing.

Am I missing something ?
Please help me ? I'm new to this !
