I am trying to get a sound card working. I have got it to the point that it does play a section of sound over and over again while producing a msg that there is a dma/irq conflict and dma is timing out. I am now trying to change the pnp sound board to use irq 10 but when I run isapnp it complains that irq 10 is in use - see /proc/interrupts. That file does not show irq 10 at all - it's not being used by anybody as far as I can tell. The board is now set to use irq 5 but from other tests that irq does not seem functional on this system. Any help would be appreciated.
