Does any one know if we can add an external or internal hard drive (EIDE, 200GB) to the Dell Precision 530 Workstation.
It's running on red hat linux 7.1, has a USB 1.1 port, two 36-GB SCSI hard drives. The primary EIDE controler on system board is empty.
Yes, but the problem will be that your EIDE will only see 137 GB, which is the maximum for a standard EIDE controller.
