Yes ;-).

Well, let's say we're working very closely together now ;-).

Unclear, for now the GNUnet source tree "only" contains the code that'll
provide
infrastructure for the social networking application(s). Maybe
SecuShare will end
up in there as well, maybe it'll be a separate tree. Most likely it'll
be separate,
as I'd see that part as a GUI, and GUIs are so far always kept outside
of the main
tree (see gnunet-gtk).

I don't think it was in the very original vision, but I think the
decision to use
GNS (GADS was renamed to GNU Name System recently) was taken about a
year ago or so.

PSYC started in ancient times.
GNUnet started in 2001.
SecuShare started in ~2010 (?), looking at P2P networks to build on;
decided to pick GNUnet,
  they created a prototype;
We met in person in 2012, talked about the architecture, Lynx convinced
me PSYC was a
  good idea; I think I convinced them of using GNS and some refinements
to the architecture
Gabor wrote down the new architecture in detail in 2013 and started to
implement it.

I think that sums it up ;-).

Happy hacking!
