Errrmmmm... apt-get says:
Failed to fetch http://security.debian.org/dists/etch/updates/Release Unable to find expected entry main/binary-amd64/Packages in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?)
And, indeed, despite appearing in Architectures, there is no binary-amd64 in the release file.
