Do you have a command line tool on NT that allows you to write data from
the standard input to tape?

Then the answer would be yes. However, the encryption on SSH and your
network bandwidth may limit the writing speed so that the DLT is
seriously underperforming and wasting tape as a result.

I suppose it would be better if you had a proper backup software
package. Is there a reason why you specifically want to use SSH for this
purpose?
