Hi Greg & Ranier,

Actually, the identification file is not the equivilent of
the OpenSSH identity or id_dsa key files. OpenSSH uses
SSH1-style public key setup for both ssh1 and ssh2
protocols; SSH Secure Shell uses SSH2-style public key
setup.

Rainer, you can find more information on how to set up
public key authentication in our online FAQs:

http://www.ssh.com/faq/index.cfm?product=194

Look under 'Working with Keys' for information on generating
public keys with SSH Secure Shell, and under
'Authentication' for more information on setting up public
key authentication. Note that there are two FAQs there
which relate to public key setup for Windows - GUI and
Command Line. Instructions for creating the identification
file are in the Windows Command Line FAQ.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,

Steph
