I did this but when I run my batch file scp2 still asks for a password. I'm using ssh
for windows (from SSH Communications Security v2.4). My batch file contains only this
line:

scp2 -P 21 c:\test.txt [EMAIL PROTECTED]#21:e:\scptest.txt

I have uploaded the key for "theuser" to my server. there is one line in the help
file for sshclient that has me curious:

"The Windows version of SCP2 does not read the ssh2_config file or any other
configuration files. It receives all its parameters from the command line. "

does that mean I'll have to specificy where scp2 will get the keys from?

thanks

rob
