I have KeepAlive configured on my server, but still occationally we get a session that hangs. netstat -an showes the tcp connection is still ESTABLISHED an hour later, w shows the user logged in and the sshd is still alive. At this point should the KeepAlive signal realize the other side is dead and kill the connection?? Is there a timer associated w/ KeepAlive? Any suggestions? Red Hat 6.2
