Hi, I am using openssh 2.9.9p2 and I cannot get remote command execution to work. I try something simple;
[dbaldwin@nocdesk05 dbaldwin ]$ ssh nocdesk01 uptime dbaldwin@nocdesk01's password: Connection to nocdesk01 closed by remote host. [dbaldwin@nocdesk05 dbaldwin ]$ I can log in and run the command fine. Also, I get the same error if I use the absolute path. System is Solaris 8 on blade 100. sshd_config: Port 22 Protocol 2 HostKey /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_key HostKey /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_rsa_key HostKey /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_dsa_key ServerKeyBits 768 LoginGraceTime 600 KeyRegenerationInterval 3600 ChallengeResponseAuthentication no MaxStartups 1:1:1 PermitRootLogin yes IgnoreRhosts yes IgnoreUserKnownHosts yes StrictModes yes X11Forwarding yes X11DisplayOffset 10 PrintMotd no KeepAlive yes SyslogFacility AUTH LogLevel INFO PubkeyAuthentication yes PasswordAuthentication yes RhostsRSAAuthentication no RhostsAuthentication no RSAAuthentication no PermitEmptyPasswords no Subsystem sftp /usr/local/libexec/sftp-server ssh_config: Host * Protocol 2 ForwardX11 yes PreferredAuthentications password RhostsAuthentication no RSAAuthentication no RhostsRSAAuthentication no StrictHostKeyChecking yes Uname -a: SunOS nocdesk01 5.8 Generic_108528-09 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Blade-100 Any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks, Dave Baldwin RHCE, NOC System Engineer Network Insight, LLC www.networkinsight.com Main: 858-450-1180 Ext. 8294 Direct: 858-362-8294 Mobile: 619-726-5485 Fax: 858-450-1141 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
