Windump (tcpdump) for win32 based system or ethereal for windows 
works great while the first one is command line,ethereal has a smooth
GUI...you'll have to install winpcap and libnetNT (both library for 
low-level packet capture/assembly). As for trully sniffin the wire,
BUTT-sniff from DilDog (unstable but works)
Winsniff 32 1.1 worked  great for me and AFAIK
Foundstone never released F-sniff....
