Ok, lets walk through this mail. This is not an aggressive mail, but just a
heads up on terminology.
Payload:
The "Reason for being" for the code.
Virus:
Self replicating code, may contain payload.
Worm:
Replicating code, propogation methods are usually via a network.
Nuke:
Denial Of service -- has NOTHING to do with virii or worms.. Although
some worms/virii use these tools for their payload
Is there a url with clear definitions, I would appreciate it if someone
could post.
There are mirc scripts that you can download that DO come with these tools,
often called War IRC scripts.. These are used by the attacker on his
personal machine. I havn't really been following the thread, but just
check that you are not using an War IRC script.
