OK, there's no one stop product for that. For keystroke loggers and trojans, such as Back Orifice and NetBus can usually be picked up by a virus scanner or a personal firewall.
Sniffers can be traced with l0pht's antisniff. http://www.l0pht.com The problem I think is that people write malicious code so fast that countermeasures don't become available for a while. Can you be more specific in your application? If you're trying to keep s'kiddies from going nuts on a school network, you need a different approach than if you're just trying to protect your own PC... I hope the leads above will lead you in the right direction... -----Original Message----- From: John Christopher [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, November 06, 2001 11:04 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Scanner for Windows Hi - I'm looking for software that will detect keystroke loggers, remote admin software (ie. Back Orifice, etc.), sniffers, and other unauthorized software on Win9x, WinME, WinNT, Win2k, or WinXP boxes. Anyone know of such a product? Thanks - JC __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Find a job, post your resume. http://careers.yahoo.com
