Are you trying to administrate the winroute server from another machine (with wradmin.exe I think)? Or are you trying to get winroute working to allow other computers on your LAN to access the internet?
If you're trying to connect to the winroute server to administrate it, be sure to use the correct name and password you set up on the server. I believe the default is the name admin with no password. Also, be sure to point it to the IP address of the winroute server. If you're trying to let other computers on your LAN access the internet, enable NAT on the server's network card I believe and enter the server's IP address as the default gateway on each of the other computers on your network. What firewall are you using? Depending on how it's set up, that could be interfering with winroute. -----Original Message----- From: MARY Matthieu <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, November 27, 2001 2:42 PM To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: winroute? >Hi all, I'm trying to install an apache server behind a router under Win2000 pro. I try to use winroute... the server winroute is ok, but when I launch the client winroute, it say me that he can't connect to the server winroute. the LAN is ok: I can share files between the 2 pc. is it depending of the OS? or does is it du to the rules of firewall I have apply? thanks Matthieu MARY ______________________________________________________________________________ ifrance.com, l'email gratuit le plus complet de l'Internet ! vos emails depuis un navigateur, en POP3, sur Minitel, sur le WAP... http://www.ifrance.com/_reloc/email.emailif
