if you call norton...and ask them...they will admit that if you are getting seriously pounded by a virus...and you are trying to clean/quartine it....it will overflow the system..and then let them through. I found that out the hardway about 6 months ago when we got attack by a vbs virus and it overflowed the virus server.
That is why today..I have the system set to just delete VBS,SCR,EXE,PIF,JS...etc...then it doesn't get overloaded.... -----Original Message----- From: Chris Chandler [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, December 06, 2001 11:44 AM To: 'Luciano Giacchetta'; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: W32.Goner.A@mm On the Symantec site there is a toll to remove the Goner virus from your system -----Original Message----- From: Luciano Giacchetta [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, December 05, 2001 1:40 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: W32.Goner.A@mm Hi, My NAV, Norton Antivirus Corporative, has been stop this worm in all day, since I pach it with the last Def.
