Out of many other reasons, lack of performances is
sometimes the major one. Espacially with static pages
IIS outperforms Apache. Take a look at the latest
benchmarks at

Just don't trust (any) out of box configuration, do
your homework and lock IIS as you'd lock any other
product if you care for security.
