Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has managed to restrict logins on a laptop
system running windows 2000. I do not want to use something like a PKI,
it has to work on a stand-alone system also.
What I want to do is preload the public key part of the certificate onto
the machine and only with the private key on the smartcard (in my case a
Rainbow iKey2000) will the user (me) be able to login.
I have created my certificate (on a unix machine using openssl), the
cert has been copied on the iKey and the public part of the cert into
the system's registry for that user.
I also have the full SDK for the iKey, so if there is something there
that I need to install, some driver that isn't installed by default,
please let me know :)

Thanks,
Xander
