TIFF can't have a virus inside. No graphics format (data that is to be 
viewed using some sort of picture viewer) can contain viral data. There 
might be some data hidden in the picture (do some search on steganography
if you're interested in that topic), but no TIF, GIF, BMP or JPG (etc) can 
transfer virii just as they are. Therefore, there's no need to check real 
graphics, but beware of things like bigboobs.jpg.pif and such pranks. 
Documents and unknown attachments should be scanned every time.
