I prefer this one over DSL Reports: http://www.pcpitstop.com/internet/default.asp
Separate up/down controls and selectable d/l file sizes. They have several other utilities too. If I'm getting lower than normal results, I usually then test my connection at multiple alternate sites to rule out server-side and/or routing issues. One nice thing about DSL Reports though, is that you can log your results so others can research ISP performance by zip code and ISP. I just convinced my brother to upgrade to DSL after showing him the local performance potential on DSL Reports. -----Original Message----- From: Todd Sparks [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Saturday, February 09, 2002 11:41 PM To: Security-Basics@Securityfocus.
