Hey all

one option would be to enable ratings in IE on the client machines.

You then enter the list of approved sites in the 'Approved Sites' list, then password
protect the options in the 'general' tab.
Your mileage may vary, but it's a start on the way to what you want. restricted sites
won't block the site, they'll just have less functionality in terms of scripting etc.

Another option is to set up your 'hosts' file on the client computers with a list of
sites you don't want them to have access to and map the web-site name to the local
machine. The success of this method will depend on how the computers connect to the
internet. have a look at the following site for
more information:

http://www.accs-net.com/hosts/

The site contains just about all you need to know about using the hosts file as a site
blocking tool and provides links to files that contain thousands of sites that have
been deemed either offensive or ad-serving by many individual Netizens.

Cheers,
Brad
