DISCLAIMER: IANAL Not in Australia, according to our corporate legal eagles... in this country at least it comes down (apparently) to the question of intent, and while you may be convinced of your good samaritan-ness, if worst comes to worst it may be a luddite judge and/or n of your peers who (a) were unemployed or (b) couldn't think of any other excuse to avoid jury duty. What are the odds they'll sympathise with you when the police prosecutor makes you out to be a no-good hippie anti-establishment terrorist sympathiser with the axis of evil? ;-)
