Define what you mean by "scan".  What "system" or utility is informing you 
of this?

How well do you understand DNS?
Most likely it is nothing more than 'normal' NS-resolution traffic to and 
from your host.

With a little more situational info (maybe even a copy of what you're 
logging) we can figure out the reason for the traffic.
