About 6 months ago -- maybe more recently -- I saw a post on one of the security sites I regularly visit regarding the Federal government being concerned that it was funding the purchase of a lot of academic computers that were not adequately secured. The article said that the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) were going to be changed to require that any computer purchased using Federal dollars had to meet certain minimum security requirements.
I thought I saw the post on SecurityFocus, but cannot find anything similar in the library. Does anyone know where I can find that article or a similar discussion? Thanks for your help!
