Posting from a Pegasus Mail user for eight years - version 3.12c (runs really stable)
- I
would state that among its virtues, you will find:
+ extremely good filtering capabilities
+ permits unlimited identities
+ none of the html and script junk will run unless you have a penchant (and the time
+and
money) to wipe your disk clean and reinstall your OS frequently :-)
I would caution using v4.01 as it is in public beta stage and you know what that
means!
especially as you will need to get into a real learning curve to find all the
capabilities the client has to offer. A really good mailing list offers excellent
help
when in need. For a mail server capabilities or multiple accounts you have the ideal
compliment using Mercury 32 for all the different variants (also written by David
Harris).
I went from Eudora to Pegasus Mail, but as someone else said, e-mail clients are a
personal choice. :-)
Luck!
