Hello,

I just subscribed to this list. We have just announced a product that may
be of interest to this topic. Vigilent User Management. It allows users and
helpdesk/administrators to synch passwords for a user (including users with
different user names on various platforms) to synch all their passwords on
the various operating systems to one password using the Viglent agents and
VSM console.

See http://www.pentasafe.com/products/vum.htm

I am the test engineer for the product. Hope this helps.

Timely posting for me Daymon, this is something I'd like to hear opinions
on...

I personally am not conceptually fond of password management systems.
Admittedly
I only have a few passwords to remember (less than 10), but paranoia
suggests to
me that having such an app on your system is simply another risk that can be
mitigated by making sure you *know* your passwords.

I'd be interested in hearing what you and others have to say. I know things
have
been changing in this arena, and would be interested in finding out if my
concerns are still valid.
