This link is for a virus proxy scanner. That is not what I am looking
for.

Well I have this answer from many people, but I am not sure how I can
detect whether a particular IP is running a proxy server on a particular
port?? I can use Nmap and it will tell me port 8080 or port 80 on a
machine is open. That could be just the webserver couldn't it?

Or am I missing something here. Is there some way to detect proxy
servers using Nmap?
