Another problem I faced with ZA that made me disable all privacy
features in it was the fact that some random images were replaced on
sites by other images from sites I had previously visited! It freaked me
out and I actually thought I was compromised :) But on further
investigation I found out that the way ZA pro works is that it sets up a
proxy on ur machine, and your web browser access the websites through
the ZA proxy, and the ZA proxy filters out all the things you configure
it to filter out, all of this happens behind the scenes and without any
user intentions and any changes in proxy settings on the browser.

At first, the new ZA privacy options seemed great, but they were too
buggy, slowed down web-browsing , and made some sites unusable, so I
simply turned all privacy options off.

I got a couple responses back today and in summation it appears
to be a proxy problem on the server. The bug apparently can be easily
corrected on the server side and they will be fixing it shortly. The
phpbb.com proxy doesn't strip the packet content length on a http 1.0
connection -- which is why you get a 4 digit code randomly in the html
source. Za privacy forces a http 1.0 connection when it is active.
Otherwise most modern browsers use http 1.1 connections where this isn't
a problem (unless you are behind some other proxy which forces a 1.0
connection).

Nathan.
