Phoneboy's book is quite good, with some decent examples at the end of each
chapter. It doesn't concentrate on any version of FW-1 specifically,
although more on 4.x than anything else. And the NG stuff is actually fairly
light, just a few mentions really. It also doesn't concentrate on any base
OS specifically, mentioning Solaris, NT, and Nokia to about the same extent
during the install chapters.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good book on NG? I am currently reading
a book by syngress (ISBN 0-07-210420-0) and have found it ok for an
introduction but it is not "meaty" enough for me. Does anyone have any
books they like? I was looking at a checkpoint book by Phoneboy (ISBN:
0201699508). Alot of people I am sure will agree his site is excellent
(some of the info is better then the checkpoint site itself). I was just
wondering if anyone has read this book and what they thought (positive and
negative) ((reviewers on amazon raved about it)). Also if you have a
favorite checkpoint book that covers NG that you would like to suggest I
would love to hear that to.

Cheers to all,

Leon
