Hi All, I am trying to install SNORT -1.8.1 on Red hat Linux-7.1. But its giving so many errors. So if someone of you can please refer me to some installation document that will be of great help. Even i tried to follow the steps from
http://www.kellys.net/snort/ but then postgres start giving error and i have to use mysql fro that. I have tried many ways by adding all required packages. But all in vain. So plzzzzzzz help me out of this problem. And suggest me the best combinations of snort version and other acid, adodb , phplot, php-gd and openssl ..etc . Any help will be highly appreciated.
