I would like to show to my manager that VPN is useful. My idea was to
connect with our standard laptop (win2000 + pcmcia diva isdn card) to
the internet, go to google and enter a search entry. I would like to log
all of this traffic on the laptop and show him that I can see the word
entered in google. Then I would do the same thing with VPN on and the
traffic encrypted.
Unfortunately windump seems only to work on my ethernet card.
Since I want to do this scenario first with my ISDN card connected and
then with a WLAN card connected to a hotspot in our airport I am
searching for a sniffing tool for these cards that does the same as
tcpdump/windump/ethereal for ethernet cards. Or is it possible to
configure these tools (do I need an additional WinPcap or some other
driver?)
