Of course You may use it, but remeber, that shell for ftp service has to be in a way 'legimate' that is, it has to be listed in /etc/shells (i use /usr/bin/passwd as a shell :-) This trick however does not work on sftp - there have to be interactive shell present. BTW does onyone can give me a hint with secure ftp?
